| Artist Statement My paintings are birth from images I create from my imagination. I paint on canvas, paper, sheets and any medium suitable for the environment for the painting. My work aims to embrace both surface reality and underlying spiritual symbolic meaning. In my workshops I create a fun and creative environment for creative energy to flow and bring out the natural artist within. I am influence by expressionism in Ben Quilty artwork and David J. Negron where his colours dazzle me. |

| Artists Biography I was raised in Bathurst about 200km from Sydney. I first studied art in High School and furthered my art studies at the age of 16 at David Wilson’s Art Studio in Bathurst. I have painted murals and taught art at my local church. To further my art knowledge I enrolled in Southbank Institute of Technology to study the Certificate 4 in visual arts. I am currently studying for a Diploma in Visual Art. |

I came across this interesting website of art about animals, beautiful art for animal lovers.Delliah Smith
She uses her paint very lushiously and emotional, she builds up the paint in a very expressive manner. Her paintings of the country are very beautiful in colour and texture. As I am a country girl and living in the city, I started feeling very homesick. Check out her beautiful artworks!
She focus on painting outdoors. I am not 100% sure if her work is done by a palette knife and it has a certain look that carries texture of a palette knife.
I started to explore the journey of using an artist palette knife. The ones offered at the Art Shed (my favourite art supplier) and other art shops are like.
